The environmentalists have been grabbing the headlines for the past few decades, and while some of us may be inclined to view them cynically, the Torah does prescribe a proper Jewish attitude toward nature. We are supposed to preserve nature, to recognize the hand of Creator in it, but NOT to worship it. With facts and stories that capture the miraculous balance of our world, we grow in our relationship with God.
